Labelexpo Mexico 2025 - Powered by Renewable Electricity

Planned during the previous administration and carried out during the current one, the wiring infrastructure, equipment, and electrical room of the special events hall were renovated — an investment that will bring benefits in terms of efficiency, safety, and capacity to host events more successfully.

The venue has a solar energy production system with an installed capacity of 200 KW. From April 2023 to March 2024, it generated 279,514 kWh (kilowatt-hours), representing a savings of $796,300.57 MXN. During this period, the generation of 135 tCO2 (tons of carbon dioxide) was avoided.

Expo Guadalajara has more than 1200 m2 of photovoltaic cells installed in one of their main lobbies. These cells generate an average of 183993 kwh annually, which is equivalent to avoiding emission of approximately 91.98 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
